About us
Hi I’m Sara and I make jewellery in recycled silver and gold sometimes encorporating seaglass that I have found and sometimes using ethically sourced gemstones.
My workshop is in Gloucestershire but a much loved holiday home in Cornwall provides the inspiration for my business.
My grown up children bought me my first silversmithing course and I was hooked!
Why Ooblin?
Ooblin is a character in a little book that I have written.
Everyone needs the impulsive spirit of an Ooblin in their lives, that someone who looks for the moon, swims in the sea and in lakes, rushes outside to dance in the rain, adores the sunshine and radiates kindness.
My jewellery isn’t for everyone, its not perfect its organic and raw but I hope that for a few of you lovely people out there that it sparks a joy, captures a feeling, like the first glimpse of the sea in a while, or a log fire in the winter.
Our Values
We live on a beautiful planet so we are doing our bit to keep it that way. Each piece of jewellery is handmade individually using recycled silver and gold and our supply chains are chosen for their values ensuring any gemstones are ethically sourced and any packaging used is recycled.
